Last weekend I headed over to Donington Park to watch the BTCC and supporting races. I took my camera and 70-200mm f4L to have a play around.
I managed to find a decent spot near the chicane before the start/finish straight and I’m quite happy with some of the shots.
In the afternoon the sun was slightly behind the cars which led to terrible bright spots on the bodywork. I need to get a circular polarising filter for my 70-200mm but I’m holding off at the minute as I’m considering swapping it for the f2.8L
Lessons learned for next time – move around more! Most of the shots are from the same place and get a bit boring after a while. I also need to pack suntan lotion as it was 27c and by 3pm I had to go home because of sunburn
Oh well… enjoy the images and comments + criticisms would be greatly appreciated!
