Clumber Park
Had a really nice day out in clumber park today, did a 6 mile walk around the lake and took a load of photos
Very pleased with myself today as most of these shots have had virtually no post-processing. Saturation, contrast and crop all straight from the camera. I think I’m slowly getting better 
PPC In The Park (Mallory Park)
Yesterday I went to the Practical Performance Car in the Park show at Mallory Park near leicester
The weather was brilliant, I am absolutely burnt to a crisp and sat here splashing myself with after-sun lotion
It was my first time with my dSLR at a show, and taking track photos, so any feedback would be cool!
Canon 18-55mm IS Lens
I’ve been looking for a general purpose kit lens for a while, and had my heart set on the Sigma 17-70mm. But that lens is over £250 and im currently saving up like mad for a set of carbon bucket seats for my car.
So I decided to buy myself a brand new Canon 18-55mm IS kit lens – identical to what used to get shipped with most Canon 450D EOS kits.
I havent had much time to play around with it as I got home really late from a business meeting and it was very dark in the house, but I grabbed my flash and rattled off a few quick shots of my adorable cat Isabelle. Seems a very very nice lens for the £85 it cost me!!
